Our first initiative is aimed at tackling the “right now” issues associated with experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity – starting right here in Perth, Western Australia.
This time of year, a lot of Australians are busy thinking about what they want for Christmas, but right now, some people don’t even have what they need. The basic, yet vital, essentials that most of us take for granted.
And so, on the 23rd December, we’re taking to the streets to launch our first
“Homelessness Action Now” Campaign, 2025
just in time for Christmas.
Instead of expecting people doing it tough to know how to find the support they need, we are going to find it for them – and bring it to their doorstep.
We will be walking the streets of some of Perth’s most affected areas to spread some much-needed Christmas kindness, offering cold drinks, care packages & conversation.
Cold drinks & Conversation
We’re packing the Ute with water and soft drinks on ice to hand out as we speak to as many people doing it tough as possible to spread the word that:
“They are not alone, and they do matter,
we are here, and we are thinking of them
& we won’t give up until they are heard”
Care Packages
Our care packages will be stocked with a water bottle, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, deodorant, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, hand sanitiser, moisturiser, lip balm, face wipes, face towels, tissues, feminine hygiene products, first aid supplies, a notepad and pen, and even spray bottles filled with water to keep them cool during Australia’s summer months. Along with some Christmas goodies and pamphlets for local pre-existing support services that offer free meals, laundry services, public toilets, showers, medical assistance, mental health support, and of course, potential accommodation options – all packed into a weather-resistant drawstring bag – kindly donated by Tasman Safety.
Meal Vouchers
We will also be giving out vouchers for prepaid meals, funded by LinkedUp™ Network and the in-kind support of local businesses, redeemable at participating outlets.

The theme of this year’s homelessness week is “Homelessness Action Now”, and we are proud to be building something that puts this call into practice; further supporting the Australian Government in fulfilling its human rights obligations.
Our goal is to restore the rights and dignity of the thousands of Australians who right now are suffering from living in less-than-ideal situations.
We’re starting small – one city, one day, one person at a time – and learning everything we can along the way for future efforts.

A special thank you to Tasman Safety for donating weatherproof bags as well as funds to purchase the essentials inside them.
